Dr Kamal Hussain MBBS MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Hussain has a wealth of experience in managing patients in a primary care setting. He is passionate about all areas of General Practice and its unique place in the delivery of healthcare to all patients, from infancy to later years.
Dr Hussain is on hand to provide expert help and guidance whether it is for reassurance, carefully selected evidence based investigations and treatments, or onward referral to appropriate Specialists.
His specific areas of interest are Men’s Health, Prostate Checks, Cardiovascular Disease Screening and Prevention, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Parul Karia MBBS MRCP(UK) MRCGP MSc(Dist)
Having qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 1994, Dr Karia worked as a hospital doctor in Accident and Emergency, Orthopaedics and Elderly Care Medicine and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 1998.
Dr Karia's medical experience includes several years as a Specialist Registrar in Accident and Emergency. She also has experience in Paediatrics and ENT and is trained in Minor Surgery.
Dr. Karia has worked as a GP since 2003 and completed her General Practice Vocational Training in Watford. During this time she was a finalist in the 2006 Guidelines in Practice Awards and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2006. She started her Private Practice in Stanmore in 2008, and has established The Northwood Surgery in 2015.
Dr Karia works 3 sessions a week for a busy NHS GP practice in Hertfordshire. This enables her to keep up to date with the latest advancements and guidance in medical practice. She regularly attends and contributes to Clinical Governance meetings and undergoes an annual GP Appraisal process, again ensuring that she maintains the highest standards in her professional practice.
